Luxury Capri Leggings with Reflective Waist Line 21.5''
I will preface this by saying I love this brand. The other “naked” leggings with the side pockets have become my favorites and I prefer them over my lulus. When I saw this new style, I wanted to try it out because I love a good crop. The fit is spot on to what I expected, and the rise was great. They fit very similar to a pair of athleta tights that I paid 3 times as much for. The only reason they are 3 stars and being returned is that they did not fully pass the squat test. It could very easily be solved with nude undies, but I don’t want to compromise when I know this brand is capable of squat proof leggings at the same price point. I loved the fit and the cut and the fabric has a great hold. I’d say more so than the other “naked” leggings, but sheer is not something I’m willing to budge on. Back to my pocket leggings I go!
I have two other luxury CRZ YOGA leggings (the laser cut leggings). I absolutely love this line so I wanted to try these as well... The olive green is not green at all- it is actually a dark gray, which I prefer. The seems on the back are curved in a way that is very flattering. The end of the pant is not hemmed, giving it a sleek, second-skin feel. I have not had any issues with the raw edge. The band on the top is reflective but does not go all the way to the back. Unless you workout in a bra or tank top, this feature has limited function since it gets covered by a tank. These are by far the lightest leggings I have ever owned! I am amazed by how little they weigh, especially for being squat proof. The material is sleek but not too shiny and does a decent job covering sweat. These legging get 4 stars because of the fit. I HATE leggings that fall down. Unlike the other two luxury CRZ YOGA leggings, these hit lower on my waist and the waist is not as tight (the other two leggings have the drawstring). For people who like waists without an elastic, these might be good because the elastic is so light and non-compressive. However for me, I prefer the drawstring waist (even though I don't actually use the string). They are also tighter on my thighs than the other leggings (maybe because of the seams). This combination means they slip down during lower body and HIIT workouts. It isn't horribly bad but enough to bother me. For reference I ordered an XS and am 5'5 and 120-125lbs with an athletic build.
